Since the formation of the Institute, training has been given to various cadres of Officers belonging to State Services, Subordinate Services and Ministerial Services on the subjects which are administratively important to them.
So far, 1,17,256 Officers belonging to various Departments were given training in CSTI since its inception as on 01.11.1974. The following table explains in detail, various training modules so far conducted in CSTI from the date of inception.

Since its inception in 1974, CSTI has trained 1,17,256 officers under various streams. But after 2011, the efficiency of CSTI has reached its peak and during the period from 2011 to 2018, CSTI has successfully imparted training to 41,334 officers, as detailed under: -

From the above 2 tables, it would be clearly seen that almost 35% of the Officers were trained in the past 6 years. This is the most formidable achievement of CSTI in its 43 years of history. In addition to that, recently Government raised the training intake of CSTI from 450 to 685 from 06.09.2017. Now, CSTI turns the largest Government Training Institute of the state in terms of area as well as training intake and CSTI stepped in to its 44th year of service. As on 01.05.2018, the total training backlog is 4183.
